The company at the event will confirm the price, availability and the specs of the Meizu 16 duo. The event starts at 14:30 in China. There have been a lot of rumours, leaks, and speculations about the specs of the phone including a Geekbench spotting that happened only yesterday i.e. August 7.The Meizu 16 Plus showed on Geekbench giving a sneak peek into the specs of the phone. The listing confirms that Meizu 16 Plus will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 paired with 8GB/6GB RAM. The phone has scored 2352 in the single-core test and 8808 in the multi-core test on the Geekbench.The listing further reveals that Meizu 16 Plus will run Android 8.1.0. While this is all we get from the Geekbench listing, the leaks and rumours in the past reveal some more details of the phone. It is rumoured that Meizu 16 Plus feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The company will launch two variants of the phone- the Meizu 16 Plus and Meizu 16 so you can expect a smaller screen size for the base variant.The Meizu 16 will come with 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage while the Plus model will have 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage inside it. Joining the notch-trend, Meizu 16s will sport notched displays. Interestingly, Meizu plans to add the fingerprint sensor beneath the display. So, Meizu 16 and 16 Plus could be the first Meizu phones to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Further, the Meizu 16 Plus is expected to be backed by a 3,570mAh battery with fast charging support.advertisementCamera-wise, the Meizu 16 is said to sport a dual camera set up of 12MP + 20MP on the back and a 20MP camera on the front. There are also chatters that Meizu may join the triple camera set up bandwagon this time. It is said that Meizu 16 Plus could sport triple cameras at the back with two 12MP and one 20MP camera sensors.There are now words on the pricing but going by the rumour, Meizu could price the Meizu 16 at $580(Rs 39,000 approx) and 16 Plus at $625(Rs 42,890 approx).
