first_imgSamsung electronics is all set to launch its much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note II at the IFA 2012 in Berlin on Wednesday, said a report.The upgraded Samsung Galaxy Note is expected to have a wider screen and is coming with a Jelly Bean.Already, there were reports that work on Samsung Galaxy Note II is going on and rumors have also surfaced about the release of the Samsung Galaxy S II during late August or early September.South Korean company Samsung had also confirmed the reports about launching the successor to the Note at the company’s IFA press conference.The company’s spokesperson had confirmed that the sequel to the Galaxy Note would be announced just before European trade show IFA. “We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29,” the Samsung spokesperson had said.One website had also claimed that the Note’s screen’s resolution would be 1280X720 which means it will sport HD resolution, something that its predecessor did not have on board. About other specifications, it is guessed that it may have a quad-core Exynos processor and the Exynos 4412.Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is likely to be powered by the same quad-core processor which comes with Galaxy S3 – the Exynos 4 Quad. The reports also added that Galaxy Note 2 will be shipped with the latest Android 4.1 OS.The Note is likley to have a similar design to that of the Samsung Galaxy S III, which has already been launched.
