If you’re new to mods, basically think of it as an editor for the video game. You can’t change everything within the game, but you can change enough to offer unique gameplay.”When you are in the editor, jerseys, helmets, pants, referees uniforms, fields, stadium interior walls, etc. look a certain way,” Tyler West, the leader behind the mod, told Sporting News. “We must use Photoshop to edit these things and export them as textures using another software to do so. Everything in the game has a file, so it’s just a find and replace mining-style operation alongside of the creation process.” (Madden 20) https://images.daznservices.com/di/library/sporting_news/54/51/jordan-taamu-xfl-madden-20-ftr_a5cwarw7zyii1dcz2f3fx7ie7.png?t=-1427996496&w=500&quality=80 The uniforms and stadiums for all eight teams are complete, but the mod team only released the initial beta with four of the teams being completely finished products with full rosters. As of now, seven of the eight teams are done with the entire league expected to be finished by the end of XFL’s Week 5.As for how West and his team were able to give the game an authentic look, he says it’s not too difficult once you’ve been doing it for a while.”You’re just playing the copycat game trying to get it exactly how it looks in real life,” he says. “There’s a lot still to be tweaked but at face value it’s been a lot of progress in a short time frame. I have been creating jersey numbers for each team from scratch, which is quite tedious, so that’s why some teams have jerseys but, for instance, the Renegades still had the Browns’ orange numbers on the away jersey.”Of course, not everything is going to be perfect. As you can see from the Jordan Ta’amu screenshot above, there are plenty of XFL features — the field logo, the BattleHawks decoration around the stadium. But if you look up top, you’ll see the Chicago Bears logo. If you play at home with St. Louis, you’re actually playing at Ford Field because it most closely resembles the BattleHawks’ dome stadium.”We are only allowed to use what is already in game; we can’t build The Dome in St. Louis, for instance,” West says. “So for the BattleHawks, being the only XFL team outside an NFL city, my goal was to pick an NFL stadium that was as close as possible. Dallas, Houston, and D.C. are the other teams in the league who don’t have their real stadiums in game; however, we can at least use stadiums in their NFL market.”Another unfortunate limitation is you can’t play with full XFL rules. For instance, the XFL has unique kickoff rules and no kickers on extra points. But thanks to the addition of college football in “Madden 20″ the team was able to add a few rule changes from the XFL.”This is one of those things we wanted so bad, but as of now we haven’t cracked the code on kickoffs,” West says. “We’re working on a solution for PATs. We want to make it so teams go for two every time, but we can’t add a 3-point try or a 1-point try that isn’t an extra point. The time clock inside two minutes isn’t possible either, so we use college clock rules for first downs. We set play clocks to 25 seconds, and catches only require one foot inbounds.”Right now the mod is just a beta version, which means it will be fully finalized in the future. Part of the future mod will include CFL teams as well as AAF teams.XFL 2K20 Beta V2Download Here:https://t.co/etHpnAAc8K— XFL 2K20 ft. CFL (PC ONLY) (@XFL2KMod) March 1, 2020″Ever since [EA Sports] dropped ‘create a team,’ I longed for some way to customize a football game again,” West says. “I worked on some NFL redesigns in the fall, and worked on a different college football project, but as XFL season approached I couldn’t help but get excited. So I planned a project which was meant to be private, just for me, that I would share with others every once in a while. But then I realized the potential and figured this could be something special.” How to play with the XFL mod in ‘Madden 20’You can download everything you need here. This mod only works on PC, meaning you cannot use it on Xbox or PlayStation. Use the “XFL_README.txt” file to follow instructions on how to download. The late Leo Brennan.Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr. Terence Slowey has conveyed his sincere condolences to the Brennan family on the death of their beloved Leo.“On behalf of the elected members, management and staff of Donegal County Council I would like to convey my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the late Leo Brennan. In July 2005, Donegal County Council afforded a Civic Reception and the Freedom of County Donegal to the late Leo Brennan and his wife Baba, in recognition of their immense contribution to the musical and linguistic culture of County Donegal. I recall this wonderful occasion with the fondest of memories as the life and times of Leo and Baba were shared with all of us.Leo Brennan was born into a musical family. His Mother and Father, along with his two brothers Lawrence and Tony and his sister Rose Marie travelled the length and breath of the country – particularly the Border Counties, The West of Ireland and Donegal – as the Connacht Concert Company. Led by Leo’s Dad – a popular comedian, singer and piano player known affectionately as Happy Harry – a typical Connacht Concert Company evening would begin with a opening chorus and move swiftly and energetically through a variety of topical sketches, ballads and popular songs of the day, comedy and dance music.Leo’s family settled in Donegal in the mid 1940s and soon after he was running the family band having taken over the reins from his father. He formed the Slieve Foy Showband and continued to play the dancehalls and parish halls of Donegal throughout the 1950’s and 60’s – an exotic circuit that extended from Foxhall to Drumkeen, Termon, Dunlewey, Derrybeg, Kilmacrennan, Annagry, Creeslough, McFadden’s of Gortahork, Glenfin, The Forresters in Killybegs, The Saddlers Hall in Ardara, Edeninfagh in the Big Glen of Glenties, the Spink Hall in Glencolmcille and all points between. Admission charges at the time ranged from the relatively inexpensive 4d for a ‘4 Penny Hop’ to upwards of 2s / 6d or a Half a Crown for the more upmarket Golf Club occasions. Leo and Baba were married in 1952 and the next generation of the Brennan Family –firstly Máire, Ciarán, Pól and thereafter Deirdre, Enya, Olive, Bartley, Leon and Bridín began to assimilate the music that came to them through their parents – Irish traditional, classical, operetta, music hall, jazz and also through their various teachers which Baba in particular, sought out – including James McCafferty of the Gaelic Singers in Derry, Miss Winston – also of Derry – who taught ballet and dance and the late Canon Cathal O’Callaghan, Parish Priest of Dungloe – a Doctor of Music from Maynooth College and a noted authority on classical music and opera. In the late 1960’s Leo and Baba took over what is now the world-famous Tabhairne Leo/ Leo’s Tavern in Mín na Leice. Having retired from the showband circuit, Leo continued to perform to visiting audiences at the Tavern where he regularly included the old music hall songs he learned from his Father and Mother in the days of the old Connacht Concert Company.’We in Donegal County Council extend our condolences to Leo’s wife Baba, to his children Máire, Ciarán, Pól, Deirdre, Enya, Barltey, Leon, Olive and Bridín and to the extended Brennan family”.CATHAOIRLEACH EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY OF LATE LEO BRENNAN was last modified: June 23rd, 2016 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:ClannadCllr Terence SloweydeathdonegalEnyafuneralLeo Brennan
